Quilting Class

Published by LPPC

The Lincoln Park Quilters meet on Fridays from 10:00AM to 2:00PM from late August through May in Lincoln Park Church’s Burnside Hall. The group, which is an adult education program of the City College of San Francisco, is taught by Carolyn Lieberman. To register for the class, go to the CCSF website: www.ccsf.edu/AR/admissions.html.

The Lincoln Park Quilters have made commemorative quilts for the United Nation’s 50th anniversary (taking 50 women two years to complete), the California Academy of Sciences Museum in San Francisco, and the Hans Christian Andersen Museum in honor of the 1000 year jubilee of the City of Odense in Denmark. They also participated with other quilters across California in making a quilt for the state’s 150th anniversary (2000).
